dc.description.abstractIn this 21 st century era, most people are busy with their carrier and try to earn money for better live and forget about the importance of environment to our life. Nowadays the most profrtable business in market is about exploiting the natural resources. This activities are practice by human since a decade ago and it was a mainly economics revenue for certain or most of the country in this world. Explore the natural resources and logging the forest area become more normal and a lot of industry is base from this activities. Even though it will increase the number of job in this countries but they forget that impact could be affect in the future. Because of this human activity now we are facing with the problem such as deforestation. There is lot of factors could impact the deforestation but in this research are focuses on rural poverty that may cause deforestation. Reason poverty people may cause deforestation are because their activities to earn some money for survive. So this research base on study case that held in Carey Island and take 50 people that living in there as a respondent. A questionnaire been given for respondent to answer all and from the answer some analysis will done to find a good result whether the independent and dependent is significant or not. Face to face interview also been done to get more clear view of their living style. The dependent variable from this research are income per month and independent variable is family size, job type and education level. After the data from the questionnaire collected, some analysis will be done that is find a result using multiple regressions and simple regression. To find a regression, will using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) and will interpret the result and also to find the R square value. Finally in discussion from this research may explain briefly about the relation of this independent and dependent to show whether the poverty may impact the deforestation or not.en_US
