Abstract

Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), a university focussing on marine science and aquatic resources, is constantly making efforts to help bridge the gap between Malaysia and developed countries, especially in the maritime sector. As part of the efforts, the university renowned in the fields of maritime and oceanography has established a collaborative partnership with The Chartered Institute of Logistic and Transport Malaysia (CILT Malaysia) for the formation of the Malaysian Maritime Logistics and Transport Center (MaLTraC) at UMT. The collaboration will enable MaLTraC to carry out data collection activities on the country’s logistics and research relating to logistics and transport.
