dc.description.abstract This study aims to reveal spawning behaviors and chemical communication of the tropical donkey's ear abalone, Haliotis asinina Linnaeus 1758. H. asinina is a broadcast spawner, they would aggregate before the mass-spawning. Chemical communication plays an important role in the spawning of this mollusc. Results showed that sexually matured females H. asinina were strongly attracted to the matured males abalone. en_US
