dc.description.abstract This study was conducted to determine the effect of survival, specific growth rate (SGR), and pigmentation of Angelfish fry (Pterophyllum sea/are) feed with different levels of tomato. Different levels of tomato as the feed additive were apportioned for diet 1, diet 2, diet 3 and diet 4.Diet 1 as a control contained 98% pellet and 2% of wheat flour, diet 2 contained 88% pellet, 10% tomatoes, and 2% of wheat flour, diet 3 contained 78% pellet, 20% tomatoes and 2% of wheat flour), and finally diet 4 contained 68% pellet, 30% tomatoes and 2% of wheat flour. Diet 1 and Diet 3 showed the best length ( 6.20±0.17),of Freshwater Angelfish (Pterophyllum sea/are), followed by diet 4 (6.03±0.23) and diet 2 (5.90±0.10). Freshwater Angelfish, Pterophyllum sea/are with diet 1 showed the best mean weight (5.15±0.19), followed by diet 3 (3.65±0.33), diet 4 (4.63±0.46) and diet 2 (4.17±0.48) respectively. However, mean length and weight of Freshwater Angelfish, Pterophyllum sea/are was not significantly different (P>0.05) between the treatments (level of tomato). en_US
