Abstract:
Tasik Kenyir is an aquaculture industrial zone and angler's haven for fishing. Mass mortality of fish was occurs from time to time in the area. It is very important to investigate surface water movement and hydrological parameters in the area in order to. provide information for sustainable aquaculture in the area. The surface water movement in Sungai Como, Tasik Kenyir was studied on December 2008 and January 2009. Water current in the study area were not detected beyond 10 meter and the wind flow was 0.5-2.0 mis. The overall mean of hydrological parameter in Sungai Como, Tasik Kenyir for sampling 1 such as temperature, pH and DO were 26.53°C, 7.56 and 4.02 mg/1 while the overall mean of hydrological parameter in Sungai Como, Tasik Kenyir for sampling 2 such as temperature, pH and DO were 29.02°C, 8.44 and 6.75 mg/1.
