A study on safety and risk management of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu's vessels

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to identify the safety management conduct by University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and to explore risk management of UMT's vessels. Hopefully, this report can help to improve the administration of UMT in term of safety and risk management for their vessels. This study was conducted at the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. The main objective is to identify safety and risk management conducted by UMT. Safety issue is very sensitive among the marine peoples and authority. Usually, the safety management is to prevent the loss of life and property. In this contact, it also about prevents accidents such as health, life, property and marine environment. The safety management usually will use risk analysis and cost benefit assessment. This report can be used as a reference to help administration of UMT for their safety and risk management in their vessels activities or make this report for the comparison their existing evaluation and safety management.
