Abstract

Recent advances in Web 2.0 technology offer an emerging social networking practice,authentic materials and contexts to promote learner independence and active engagement in informal ESL acquisition. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Web 2.0 technologies on Malaysian university students' informal ESL learning practice.
