dc.description.abstract Recently, there are a lot of researches dealing with the development of chemosensor for toxic metal detection in water system. Molecular framework of thiourea was previously reported to possess active chelating sites, electronic conjugated system and ease of synthetic approach which opens possibility for this type of moiety to be applied as chemosensor for metal ion detection. en_US
