dc.description.abstract The hesitation involved during the decision-making process lead to uncertainty and difficulty in understanding the situation of the problems occurs. However, there are lots of mathematical tools that described the multiplicity, complexity and sensitivity of the human thoughts in the decision process todays. One of the well-known methods frequently used by various authors to handle this situation is Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The concept of AHP is commonly known as pair-wise comparison of decision makers' assessment by applying the standard 9-points of preference scale introduced by Saaty. The assessment made by decision makers however will lead to failure due to the effect of vagueness. Thus instead of using the crisp value as preference scale, fuzzy set theory is used to tackle the weaknesses. en_US
