dc.description.abstract The phenomenon of membrane fouling is believed to be caused mainly by the hydrophobic characteristics of most membranes fabricating polymers. Consequently, many modification techniques have been developed to render the membrane surface with hydrophilic properties. With this property, membrane is expected to be more resistant to foulant adsorption; therefore fouling occurrence could be regulated thoroughly. en_US
