dc.description.abstract Cashew (Anacardium occidentale L.) is classified under the family of Anarcadiaceae. The cashew tree is native to Brazil and currently cultivated in many regions in the world. The cashew fruit comprises with enlarged peduncle(apple like) known as cashew apple, and the kidney-shaped nut which is the true fruit of the cashew tree. en_US
