dc.description.abstract Coastal zone are among the most dynamic and energetic environments on earth. Coastal morphology is shaped essentially by the action of waves and currents, with often an important role of the tide. Hydrographic survey was conducted in coastal Kuala Selangor area. The objectives of this research are to generate bathymetry model and study tidal events at study area. From the study, the result shows that the average depth is around 5 to IO meter. As a conclusion, there are no obvious features on the bathymetry that are clearly detected, are to support decisions on the safety navigation for the fisherman at study area of coastal Kuala Selangor. en_US
