Optimization of Johor port container terminal operation

Abstract

This study presents the effect of globalization on development and performance of the container terminal on how to adapt them to meet the global demand. In particular, this study provides a perspective on the process of planning strategies to optimize container terminal with a stressed initial steps that need to be implemented (to study the effect of globalization on the container terminal, container terminal operations reviewed as a whole, reviewing the current state of Johar Port Container Terminal , review the methods and theories used by researchers in the past on optimize of container terminal, and review the methods and elements involved in measuring performance and effectiveness of container terminal) to optimize Johar Port Container Terminal in practice in the future. These things are very important and should be considered in the process of planning strategies to optimize container terminal.
